thisaintbcAs you, uh, may have been able to guess from my recent fic production, I have fallen down the rabbit hole of BL shows, in particular Thai & Filipino BL shows. One of my very favorites is a show called Ingredients, which is a quarter cooking show, a quarter curtain fic, a quarter grocery store advertisement, and a quarter soft wholesomeness. It's about roommates Tops & Win, who are in love with each other & eventually get around to telling each other as much. I really can't emphasize enough how purely delightful this show is, just little bite sized chunks of people who love each other taking care of each other as they grow into themselves and their spaces.
Anyways, I love this show enough that I'm running a fest for it - again! I put together a fest for it last winter, but since I didn't work very hard at advertising participation was low. A twitter friend stepped forward to help run it and in particular help with the promo side of things, and so we're going for round 2 this November!
If you haven't seen Ingredients, I really think it's probably worth your time to give the first episode or two a shot - they're short (the first few episodes are all around 6 minutes long), soft, and best of all, free to watch on youtube!
